No pony has been more influential on our Section A breeding program than our evergreen Gwyn. We love his type, bone, huge front end—and perhaps most notably, this powerful mover sets the standard for how we want a Welsh Mountain Pony to move, which he passes to his offspring. This is why we've incorporated him into both our Section A and B breeding programs.

What a wonderful stallion Lore is for us, crossing beautifully with our lines. We were fortunate enough to choose Lore out in pasture as a foal, and to meet his lovely family. We're so grateful for the opportunity to have such a well-bred, up-to-height stallion with excellent bone, who is such a kind, gentle pony.

2023 Welsh Section B Stallion
Sire: Cadlanvalley Georgie Boy (Newtonhill Naughty Boy Charlie x Cadlanvalley Georgette by Russetwood Elation)
Dam: Cadlanvalley Sweet Elation (Russetwood Elation x Bluerock Bramble by Cadlanvalley Drum-Major)
We're grateful to the Cadlanvalley Stud for once again allowing us to bring some of our favourite lines into our program. Being linebred to the sire-rating topping Russetwood Elation, Bobby is from a family that's been very successful in-hand and under saddle, including Royal Welsh and HOYS champions. Bobby is just what we hoped—a real Welshman: in type, temperament, and movement, and with his first crop of foals, we're seeing that fantastic type come through on brave, sensible babies who are so well balanced and very light on their feet, like dad. We could hardly be more excited for this young stallion's future with us.
ALVESTA EMRYS
2024 Welsh Section B, Buckskin Colt
Sire: Nerwyn Gwyn (Betws Llew x Nerwyn Gwyrthiol by Nerwyn Tywysog)

The fourth of this awesome performance cross! Really happy with him: that super athletic body with a very pretty head, and the wonderful bone this cross always has.
With a closely related herd, we don't retain many of our own colts for our program; however, we're proud to retain this boy for the start of his breeding career.
