Welcome home to the third Llanarth Tarquin daughter in our broodmare band: Alvesta Silver Lustre, 10-year-old Welsh Section B.

Alvesta Silver Lustre with Shelley Todd

Silver spent most of her life as a driving pony for Shelley Todd in Armstrong, BC and returns home to join paternal sisters, Naiya & Angelina, to create the next generation. Her sisters have crossed very well with our Thistledown Arctic Lore, so we're excited for this prospective pairing! Each sister is an absolute sweetheart and a lovely, typey pony, and while two sisters turned grey, all were born black.

Silver winning Res. Supreme as a yearling

Before she'd left us, yearling Silver went to a double-judged show, where the judges were in agreement: double Youngstock Ch; Res. Supreme Ch; Gr. Ch. Model Hunter Pony; Res. Gr. Ch. Sport Pony—a feat for a yearling filly! While she wasn't shown much as an mature pony, she did continue winning with Shelley, including Res. Supreme at the 2017 IPE show.

We weren't exactly looking for another female, but Tarquin was such a wonderful sire for us that when we had the opportunity to bring back another favourite daughter, as a breeding and driving prospect... well, home she came.
